In this section we describe the results of the project, the papers published, conference presentations, and the Exploring Physics App that resulted from the curriculum written during the project.
Over two cycles of funding from the Math Science Parternships program, funded by the Missouri Department of Elementary and secondary education from 2006-2008 and the National Science Foundation from 2009-15, a total of 123 teachers from 53 Missouri school districts participated in the A TIME for Physics First program. Over the following decade, the number of students taking Physics First in Missouri increased from a few hundred to 17,000, with 13,000 of those students in districts that participated in A TIME for Physics First.
